What Will Be Enough?

By: Uzma Anjum

After 9/11 incident, whole world has changed in every field of life and things got worse when America started its war against terrorism by attack on Iraq and Afghanistan. The war against terrorism still continues, but it has also boosted a very severe and challenging problem of growing suicide bombers.

Particularly, at present our country is suffering a lot because of suicide bombing.
Can you imagine facing an accident in which you lost your loved ones and not only that, the fact that his/her family could not identify his/her body.
Such accidents have become common in Pakistan and we have lost many people.
City of lights, Karachi has become a victim of such attacks. We all remember the incident of 10th Moharram 2010. It caused a major impact on everyone's life as the people have become afraid to be out in the city.
Our social lives have become slaves of foreign dictates.
Every now and then we get to hear that Pakistani nation is not doing much to combat war against terrorism.
The government announces compensation for the deceased people and sets on to eradicate terrorism from the country.
But is it enough? Would it satisfy appetite of common man? Would it create some way out to resolve domestic issues of our country?
I think, the authorities should focus on the core problems of citizens and should make policies which can answer this question that what will be enough?
