            Shams uddin Bulbul was a writer, scholar, and the poet who served the people in many respects.  He writes books and laid the foundation of Mehar high school. Qadir Bux Memon has resemblance with this great personality who is also a scholar, writer, and poet. He strived a lot in the promotion of education as well as social welfare activities. He was born on 16th February 1938 in village of near Sita Road. He received his primary education from his native village, and completed his final (Sindhi) from Mehar and secured first 1st position in 1953. Later, He completed his M.A Sindhi literature and awarded with Silver medal in 1970.

             He started his early career as primary teacher in village of Allah Rakhio Gorchani Taluka Mirprkhas. There he was restricted from teaching by a sardar (feudalist). Sardar said they would allow him to teach children so, Mr Memon you must close the school. He faced many difficulties but he did not lose his hope. Later, he was transferred to Weiji School. There he opened many schools in area. Govt primary school Bilal Wasan Mirpurkhas, Govt. Primary School Mehbob Wasan talaka K.N Shah, primary school Sahab Khan Khoso, Govt. Primary School (Bathi) G.P.S Syed Ali Akbar Shah are few of them. One of his achievements is the Memon Mohla Primary School Sita Road. Now it has been upgraded to middle school.
One of his old friends Rasool Bux Memon said that I have never meet such a good person who has devoted his life for the welfare of others. Now a day he is working on Shah jo Risalo on the topic of (Shah Abdul Latif ji shair main boli te bajh).

            He generally wears kurta and shalwar and Sindhi topi. Qadir wrote a book with the title of “Qalandri Kachkol”. He also wrote many proses, poems on saints such as, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Qalandar Lal Shahbaz, Saadi Moosani and Suleman Sedani which got much appreciation. He was awarded with many certificates such as Afreen Naama. He has written poetry which is unpublished yet.One of his poetry is quoted here.


 His services, abilities and qualities earned for him not only fame but also the title of Qalandar which has been given to him for his services. Now he is known as Qadir Bux Qalandar. He retired as a head master in 1998.
